Beverly Dean Kirchner, 84, died at home, Sunday, February 1, 2015.  2012-10-17 17.56.21 In 1982, Beverly moved to Indianapolis and lived primarily in the Meridian Kessler neighborhood where she was known to frequent businesses and coffees shops at 49th and Pennsylvania. In 2012, Beverly moved to a home in Oaklandon, which she shared with 2 friends and was supported by good people who delighted in her personality. Beverly’s  strength and  perseverance  were assets which served her well under the most adverse circumstances, particularly in her younger years. Although deaf and unable to use spoken language, Beverly had mastered the ability to unequivocally express her feelings. She was a great teacher of being true to yourself and living life to the fullest. She was a loyal friend. It would be true to say, Beverly’ s shades of red hair exemplified her spirited personality.

Left to cherish her time on earth are: Wilma Pipes, Kenaze Navarre,Theresa Phillips, Barbara Hall,  Joey Hodges, Tabitha Franks, Lauren Schlenk, Shari Doan, Debbie Maley, Heidi Fledderjohn, Gary Lawson, Gregg Lucas, Jay Snyder, Fred Hauck, Kathy Elder, Nancy Swaim, Dennis Wagner(Louisville, Ky), Debra Mullins, and Vicki Van Cleave. Beverly valued the many friends she made throughout her life. A visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, with a tribute to Beverly’s life at 10 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Madison, Indiana.
